We do what we do through with support from a number of different sources. Sometimes we get grants, sometimes we get materials or labour donated, but a lot of time, we fund our projects out of our own pockets.
Over the last couple of years, we’ve made some t-shirts and a book, and a lot of people ask us if they’re for sale. We’ve finally sorted out the on-demand technology, and you can now get a t-shirt or a copy of a book. The proceeds from the t-shirts and book will go directly to support our projects by allowing us to purchase more materials and resources.
The costs for these items reflect the on-demand manufacturing cost plus a markup of around $10-$15 that can go directly to fund new projects.
